We're honored to be serving the Martinez Unified School District! Geo-Engineering Solutions Inc. is pleased to be selected to assist the Martinez Unified School District with Geotechnical Engineering and Geologic Hazards assessment consulting for the redevelopment of John Muir Elementary School. This project is part of the MUSD’s on-going renewal of facilities through its 2010 ($45 Million) Measure K and 2016 ($120 Million) Measure R Bond projects. This project marks the third major project that the engineers and geologists of Geo-Engineering Solutions has assisted Martinez Unified with. We look forward to helping the district with another successful project.
We're proud to announce the pleasure of extending our services to the Santa Clara County Fire District! Geo-Engineering Solutions is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract to perform Geotechnical Engineering and Geologic Hazard Studies for the new Quito and Redwood Fire Stations for Santa Clara County Fire Department. The new fire stations will consist of new equipment and training buildings at each site of about 8,000 square feet of space each. The sites are located within mapped zones for liquefaction and slope stability concerns and will require evaluation and analysis for these issues. The projects are being designed by the multi-disciplinary design firm of RRM Design Group from San Luis Obispo.
We are thrilled announce that Colin Frost, a Project Engineer at Geo-Engineering Solutions, was recently licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of California. To become licensed, engineers must complete a four-year college degree, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from their state's licensure board. An immense amount of knowledge, effort, and passion is needed to receive a P.E. license. Colin received both his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and joined the Geo-Engineering Solutions team early in 2017. Colin's experience includes nuclear gauge testing, geotechnical engineering investigations, and analytical testing.
