Geo-Engineering Solutions is providing the Construction Observation Services and has assumed the responsibility of the Geotechnical Engineer or Record for this new 5-story dormitory facility at Sacramento State University. The site is
geotechnically complex due to the high groundwater and relatively loose sand from the near by Sacramento River. The project requires ground improvement consisting of rammed aggregate piers placed below the
spread footing foundation system.
