Copperopolis WasteWater Treatment plant modernization

Geo-Engineering Solutions provided the geotechnical engineering foundation design recommendations for upgrades to the existing Copper Cove wastewater treatment plant for Calaveras County Water District. The project includes new tanks and below-grade concrete structures. The foundation conditions include moderately hard and weathered metasedimentary rock with some difficult excavation conditions. The geotechnical challenges for this project include variable bearing conditions and designing for differential settlement.
