Fredericksen Elementary School

Project Location: Dublin, California
Client: Dublin Unified School District
Project Type(s): K-12 Education
Services Provided: Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Observation, Environmental Consulting

The new campus of Fredericksen Elementary School was developed on the 50-year-old campus of the existing school.
Geo-Engineering Solutions worked with Dublin Unified School District to come up with cost effective solutions to the geotechnically challenging site conditions which included critically expansive soil conditions. Extensive use of chemically stabilized clay soils using lime treatment was performed to reduce the potential for future distress to the new campus.
The development included new classrooms, administration buildings, library, and multipurpose buildings. The multi-phase project was constructed over a 2-year period.
